# ReverseEngineering recompute response repair

The native dispatcher in
|
|
`freecad-source/src/WebAssembly/FreeCADCoreProbe/ReverseEngineeringRuntimeProbe.cpp`
|
|
called the unavailable Python method `Part.Feature.isTouched()` after committing
|
|
the curve transaction. The response now derives `recomputed` from absence of
|
|
`Touched` in the object's native Python `State` property. Existing curve fitting,
|
|
OCCT shape validation, document retention and transactions remain in use.
|
|
|
|
Build, artifact synchronization and business acceptance are deferred to the
|
|
outer pipeline. Run the existing `tools/reverseengineering-business-cases.mjs`
|
|
contract after rebuilding `FreeCADWebReverseEngineeringRuntimeProbe`; this edit
|
|
is not acceptance evidence. Variable samples, retained object updates, named and
|
|
active documents, length invariants and invalid-input recovery remain pending
|
|
verification against the rebuilt artifact. Browser document synchronization and
|
|
surface fitting remain outside this selected contract.
