# OpenSCAD selected command boundaries
Batch: `ead68bc3f315c0504fee5bde`.
The native desktop dispatcher explicitly registers MirrorMeshFeature,
RefineShapeFeature, RemoveSubtree, ReplaceObject, ResizeMeshFeature and
ScaleMeshFeature against their existing transaction bodies. ColorCodeShape now
calls the desktop color classifier with native shapes and persists its display
colors for the existing Web document view. Empty selection colors all shapes.
AddOpenSCADElement now dispatches `code`, `asMesh` (boolean, default false), and
`action` (`add` or `refresh`) through the desktop OpenSCAD compiler helper and
Mesh/importCSG insertion. Compilation precedes refresh deletion; insertion is
transactional and temporary compiler output is removed. An open runtime document
is currently required. The existing command JSON editor can submit these inputs.
Remaining implementation boundaries:
- The desktop compiler helper requires an external OpenSCAD executable. This
change does not provide an executable bridge for browser WASM. Compiler errors
remain failures; registration does not establish that compilation is available.
- The dedicated code task panel, code-file open/save controls and automatic
document creation from the desktop Add workflow remain unimplemented.
- Existing native mesh transforms and feature handlers were reused without
execution in this batch; registration is not behavioral validation.
No tests, business acceptance, browser validation, benchmarks, historical
reconciliation, builds or artifact synchronization were performed. Incremental
build/sync/route receipts belong to the outer pipeline.
