# Web workbench navigation repair

The existing module and command selection handlers in
|
|
`web/src/workbench-shell.tsx` now pass the live
|
|
`documentSelection.documentId` to `updateNavigationContext`. Both previously
|
|
replaced the active identifier with `workbench-document`, losing the document
|
|
context during navigation. This reuses the existing React state and navigation
|
|
integration without changing the shared desktop dispatcher or native results.
|
|
|
|
Desktop source: `freecad-source/src/Gui/CommandStd.cpp:84`.
|
|
`StdCmdWorkbench::activated` switches through `Gui.activateWorkbench`.
|
|
Preserving the Web navigation identifier does not implement or certify that Qt
|
|
GUI operation, nor live native document/geometry transfer across page reloads.
|
|
These boundaries remain unresolved, as described in
|
|
`docs/business-acceptance/Web.json`.
|
|
|
|
Build, synchronization, and business acceptance are deferred to the outer
|
|
pipeline. The existing `tools/web-business-cases.mjs` maps the selected record
|
|
to `product:workbench-navigation`; no acceptance result or issue closure is
|
|
claimed by this edit.
