# Dock overlay remaining boundaries
Batch: `7b8792a07a1c6fca3cca683a`
The existing `fc_web_dispatch_json` in
`freecad-source/src/WebAssembly/FreeCADCoreProbe/WebRuntimeProbe.cpp:107`
already invokes `dispatchWebDockOverlay`. The handler computes panel state
from the supplied host snapshot; no registration marker was added.
This pass changed `WebDockOverlayCommands.h` so an omitted `panel` argument
uses the snapshot's active panel. Explicit panel arguments still take
precedence and are checked against the snapshot. A non-string group child
command now fails instead of silently selecting the all-panels operation.
Remaining work is not claimed complete:
- Trace `executeDockOverlayCommand` at
`web/src/desktop-command-dispatcher.ts:109` into its existing bridge and
mounted host. Establish that it submits `web.dockOverlay` with the current
snapshot and applies the returned state through the Web worker route.
The bridge and host sources need to be supplied in the next packet.
- Resolve the four reported native registration-discovery gaps against the
existing executable dispatch path. Do not add markers or duplicate native
implementations merely to satisfy discovery.
- Outer pipeline owns incremental build, sync, and route receipts. No build,
tests, browser validation, acceptance, or benchmarks were run in this pass.
The four supplemental source windows were consumed by the native handler,
unified dispatch, Web adapter imports/routes, and desktop group definition.
