# Selected TechDraw view batch
Batch: bc2a70fd55b2a15fd35bc1c5
Edits reuse the existing TechDraw adapter, mounted workbench shell controls,
and native DrawViewDraft creation. DraftView now requires a finite nonzero
viewport direction and assigns it to each created view, matching Command.cpp
at line 1625. The shell supplies source selection, page, direction and
accept/cancel controls. Cancellation is handled before document mutation for
DraftView and before GUI restrictions for ActiveView/ArchView. The adapter
preserves BrokenView's existing create action.
Remaining boundaries:
- ActiveView still needs real active viewport capture and native page insertion.
- ArchView still needs BIM section-plane validation and native DrawViewArch
rendering; its current restricted response is not completion.
- DraftView still needs native rendered SVG results connected to the existing
shell views consumer, renderer availability verification, and transaction
exception cleanup. Object creation alone does not complete this workflow.
- BrokenView has an earlier native creation/render handler at line 715;
full desktop selection semantics and affected business cases remain subject
to outer-pipeline verification. The later handler is not evidence of execution.
Build, synchronization and business acceptance belong to the outer pipeline.
