# TechDraw batch b4188e64daea0b1b9a461f4d

|
The image desktop adapter now validates every selected handle before deriving
|
|
an implicit image owner. A malformed or foreign-document handle after the first
|
|
selection is rejected before dispatch. Explicit owners and cancellation retain
|
|
their existing paths. The mounted workbench invokes this adapter through the
|
|
existing desktop dispatcher.
|
|
|
|
The subsequent compiler diagnostic identified an invalid `isNull()` call on
|
|
`TopoDS_Shape` at TechDrawDesktopCommands.cpp:1175. This now calls OCCT's
|
|
`IsNull()`, preserving the native rejection of missing or empty source shapes
|
|
before the projection transaction begins.
|
|
|
|
Remaining boundaries:
|
|
|
|
- The corrected null check still requires compilation by the outer pipeline.
|
|
- Desktop CommandDecorate.cpp:345 uses firstViewInSelection, whereas the Web
|
|
adapter still derives an implicit owner from the first selected object. Native
|
|
type-aware selection resolution remains necessary for mixed page/source/view
|
|
selections; frontend handle validation does not establish object type.
|
|
- Creation/recompute, image bytes and ownership, native save/reopen, and native
|
|
SVG/DXF exports still require the selected business cases against the resulting
|
|
published runtime. File import coverage is not established by export cases.
|
|
|
|
No build, sync, or acceptance run was performed in this edit-only batch. No
|
|
business status or prior evidence was changed.
