# Part Boolean selection validation repair
Batch: `781162fcaadb0d01848f18fa` (Part_Common, Part_Cut, Part_Fuse).
The existing Boolean business cases call the mounted Part adapter through
`executePartFixedBoxDesktop` / `Part_Boolean`. Explicit base/tool arguments
previously removed selection before validation, allowing the cross-document
rejection case to create another native Boolean feature. The adapter now
validates all supplied selection references. Explicit operands still allow
an empty selection, independently of the selection that opened the task.
The existing business cases retain native snapshot equality checks after
rejected requests and now also cover malformed selection references.
Geometry, feature links, transactions and meshes remain owned by the existing
part.document facade / Worker / DocumentProbe and FreeCAD / OCCT implementation.
No shared dispatcher or native geometry implementation was changed.
Remaining boundary: the outer pipeline must run the selected native and browser
business cases with these edits. This repair is not business acceptance and does
not establish full desktop multi-input or compound Boolean command coverage.
Build, artifact synchronization and acceptance are deferred to that pipeline.
Local checks: the business-case script passes `node --check`. Type checking
could not start because `web/node_modules/.bin/tsc` is absent in this workspace.
