# Import Save/Reopen Batch Boundary

Reuses `web/src/import-facade.ts` and the existing
|
|
`FreeCADWebImportRuntimeProbe` native import and FCStd save/reopen operations.
|
|
The first-error repair is in `tools/import-business-cases.mjs`: repeated runs
|
|
previously unlinked the STEP input between attempts. Cleanup now unlinks the
|
|
native result's persisted document path and rejects an output path equal to
|
|
the input path. Both attempts retain the same staged STEP input.
|
|
|
|
Remaining boundaries: the facade still restricts inputs to its declared STEP
|
|
fixture and document name; this repair does not establish arbitrary user-file
|
|
or destination-path support. The existing geometry assertion checks object
|
|
and solid counts but does not compare parts or volume. Native runtime success
|
|
and repeated save/reopen acceptance remain for the outer pipeline to verify.
