M16-GAP-00012 Status

status: done task: Light data-block LOCAL_EXACT slice updated: 2026-08-19 America/New_York

scope: Blender 5.2 Area Light metadata: type, color, energy, exposure, temperature, temperature enablement, shadow flag, radius, area shape/size/spread and bounded default spot/sun fields.

evidence:

• tools/web/generated/M16-GAP-00012.py generated a single WebGapLight Area Light fixture with deterministic RNA values.
• Desktop report reopened the fixture after save and matched exactly, including Light type 4, rectangle shape 1, color [0.25, 0.5, 0.75], energy 400, exposure 1, temperature 5000, area size 3x2 and spread 2.4.
• WASM/Main opened the same fixture and matched the desktop report within the bounded float tolerance. WASM save/reopen matched the full Light snapshot exactly.
• A truncated malformed Blend submitted to an already loaded Main was rejected and the original snapshot remained unchanged.
• build_blender_5.2.0/bin/blender -b --factory-startup --python tools/web/generated/M16-GAP-00012.py -- tests/files/web/generated/M16-GAP-00012-datablock-Light.blend exited 0.
• npm --prefix web run test:generated-gap -- --task M16-GAP-00012 exited 0.
• node tools/web/check-generated-gap.mjs --task M16-GAP-00012 exited 0.

artifacts: tests/golden/M16-GAP-00012/manifest.json contains SHA-256 for the parent manifest, fixture, generator, desktop/Web checkers, reader/protocol/runtime and both reports.

knownRisk: This closes one datablock:Light metadata slice only. Light editing commands, rendering behavior, linked/override lights and all other generated gaps remain separate tasks.

rollback: remove this task's fixture, checker, reports, manifest, status and context; restore M16-GAP-00011 as the queue tail without editing its successful evidence.
