+The runtime receipt fixture binds the single and pthread variants to one
+release, pinned source/build hashes, explicit memory/resource hashes, a
+deterministic pthread-to-single fallback order, and one engine generation per
+session. Desktop and WASM/Main read the same receipt and preserve it through
+save/reopen.
+
+Acceptance evidence:

+- engine manifest validation, independent variant installation, deterministic
+  selection, and cleanup/fallback tests exit: 0
