IFC_UpdateIOS runtime boundary
Batch: 263aba85e480c17a8ff152a9
The existing native command registry already maps IFC_UpdateIOS to
ifcUpdateIOSCommand. The handler previously called the desktop Qt dialog and
returned an activation marker. It now captures the desktop updater's dialog
decision as structured data and requires explicit confirmation for installation.
Installation uses the desktop updater's pip runner and user target directory.
The desktop operation requires subprocess support and a compatible native IfcOpenShell wheel. Emscripten/WASI cannot run that desktop installation path. The handler reports this boundary as an error, including the installed version read by the desktop source, instead of claiming activation or successful update. A compatible WebAssembly package installation mechanism remains necessary to support updates in the browser. This command is not a completed browser update workflow and must not be treated as one by registration receipts.
No build, registry generation, tests, browser validation, or acceptance was run. The outer pipeline owns build, sync, and route receipts.
